Recipe Details

Have you ever cooked your whole Breakfast on the BBQ? Cooking a Full English is one of Olly’s (and his son Jude’s) favourite things to do at the weekend. They’d both have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner if they could. No Full English is complete without our bacon and sausages, so we’ve paired them with our latest obsession – nduja cheesy baked beans. Cooking this entire recipe on a BBQ will take your breakfast to the next level!

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of The Jolly Hog Black Pudding sausages (or switch for one of our different flavours if you prefer)
  • 1 pack of The Jolly Hog Smoked Back Bacon
  • 1 pack of Vine tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp Nduja paste
  • 1 tin of Baked Beans
  • Grated cheese
  • 4 Eggs (we love St Ewe)
  • Sourdough bread slices

Method

  1. Ensure your BBQ is heated to a maximum temperature. Start by putting the Black Pudding Porkers on the BBQ.
  2. After 5 minutes, take a pack of tomatoes on the vine, brush them with olive oil & a sprinkle of salt & pepper and add them onto the BBQ to blister them.
  3. Put the lid down on your BBQ. If you don’t have a lid, make sure you turn your food more often to ensure it cooks evenly.
  4. After 10 minutes of cooking the sausages and tomatoes, add a pack of our Smoked Back Bacon to your BBQ.
  5. Whilst your breakfast is cooking, add a tin of baked beans to a small cast iron pan. Add a tbsp of nduja along with a generous grating of cheddar cheese – this will take your beans to the next level. Add the beans to your BBQ and stir.
  6. Finally, cook your eggs by adding another small cast iron pan to the BBQ. Crack the eggs into the pan after adding some butter & fry them until the whites are set, and the yolk is gooey.
  7. Give your sourdough a quick blast on the BBQ to complete the brekkie!
