If you’re hosting a Christmas party, these are a must have in the spread and are likely to disappear first. Using our double smoked Outdoor Bred and RSPCA Assured Streaky Bacon, puff pasty and Boursin for the ultimate Christmas party sharer. To put it simply “Bacon Cheesy Goodness” – Max Kohn

Ingredients

  • The Jolly Hog Smoked Streaky Bacon
  • Sheet of sop bought puff pastry
  • Black Pepper Boursin
  • Cranberry Sauce
  • Poppy Seeds
  • Rosemary to garnish

Method

  1. Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees⁠
  2. Lay the sheet of puff pastry on the greaseproof paper and spread half a pack of boursin all over⁠
  3. Fold the pastry in half lengthways⁠
  4. Cut the folded sheet into long thin strips approx. 1 cm wide⁠
  5. Lay half a rasher of streaky bacon on top of each strip⁠
  6. Twist the pastry and the bacon tightly to form a twisted straw shape⁠
  7. Egg wash and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cooked⁠
  8. Dip in cranberry sauce and enjoy!⁠
