For the Koftas
- 1 pack of The Jolly Hog Garlic Porkers
- Parsley
- 1 tsp sumac
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Wooden skewers
Optional sides
- Flatbreads
- Pickled slaw salad
- Labneh
- Hummus
Method
- Pre heat your BBQ before preparing your koftas. If you don't have a BBQ, you could also cook these on a griddle on the hob
- De-skin your sausages by running a sharp knife down the edge of the sausage and place the sausage meat into a bowl
- Finely chop the parsley and add to the sausage meat along with all the spices. Mix well with your hands to combine
- Take your wooden skewers and form a kofta shape around each of the skewers. Ensure these are packed tightly around each skewer to ensure they don't fall off!
- Cook the skewers on the BBQ for 15-20 mins, turning occasionally to make sure they're browned evenly. Ensure the meat is piping hot and well cooked
- Serve up on a platter with your favourite sides and enjoy!
