Sausage Burger Patties

If you’ve never tried a sausage patty, you are missing out. You don’t have to search the shops for sausage patties though, you can make your own burger using our very own Proper Porker sausages with this ridiculously simple recipe! These are great on the BBQ but also taste amazing when cooked in a frying pan or under the grill.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of The Jolly Hog Proper Porker Sausages (that's literally all you need!)

Method

  1. Remove the meat from our sausages by running a knife down the length of them.
  2. Mould the sausage meat into thin burger patty shapes.
  3. Feel free to add seasoning if you’d like, but our Proper Porker sausages are already seasoned with plenty of black pepper and sage.
  4. Grill or fry your sausage burger patties over medium heat until they’re cooked through. This should take about 5 minutes on each side. Serve in a burger bun with your favourite toppings and enjoy… easy peasy!
